In memory of Jeff Hollenback

It is with great sadness that we must announce that BeneLeaves co-founder Jeff Hollenback died on July 6, 2022 after a three-month battle with cancer. 

Since our founding in 2019, BeneLeaves has reflected Jeff’s unwavering commitment to quality, care, and respect. Jeff's dream was to provide the patients of Ohio the best medicine possible––and his life’s work was simply to help others feel better.

Jeff was a strategic leader in the food and manufacturing field for more than three decades, in various roles: corporate chef, manufacturing consultant, research and development, project management, and large-scale food manufacturing.

Prior to BeneLeaves, Jeff oversaw strategic direction for a food manufacturing company with over $400 million in annual sales, while introducing over 120 new market-ready products.

Jeff was an active member of the Institute of Food Technologies, Institute for Thermal Process Specialists, and was a recognized thermal process authority.  He was a long-term board member of the Industry Advisory Group to the Parker Food Science Center at the Ohio State University, Graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and the University of Georgia Best Process Control School.

Although Jeff is irreplaceable, we are working to identify a candidate to fill the very large shoes Jeff leaves behind.
